Senior MongoDB Administrator

We’re looking for an experienced MongoDB Administrator to keep our databases fast, reliable, and scalable. You’ll take ownership of our clusters, optimize queries, manage indexes, and design sharding strategies to handle large-scale data.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize queries, indexes, and schema design for peak performance

• Manage sharded clusters and replication for high availability

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance issues

• Collaborate with developers on data modeling and pipeline optimization

• Automate maintenance, backups, and monitoring tasks

Requirements:

• 5+ years of MongoDB experience in production

• Deep expertise in performance tuning, sharding, and replication

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)

• Comfortable with Linux and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and other databases
